In 2004 we spent six months in Rahovitza and realized a lot of major modifications. We started out by building an outdoor shower place and a compost toilet, both with a view. We cleared a number of old stone walls and a destroyed bread oven in order to free up space around the house. We then built the summer outdoor kitchen space, stone staircases and terraces. Also we started to renovate indoors in both houses.
In June we celebrated our wedding in Rahovitza and a few days later we had our first group of summer volunteers arrive. What followed was a great two months of learning, exchange, new experiences, evening bonfires, star gazing and new friendships.Thirty participating students from all over Europe lived here that summer:
Maïa, Cécile, Sérge, Guillaume, Julia, Lutzi, Tzetzo, Drago, Jim, Bernie, Lucie, Keenu, Milko, Cyril, Cédric, Xavier, Julien, Clément, Thomas, Florie, Stephanie, Be, Jane, Dani, Suvi, Barbara, Lois, Sylvain, Lora, Violina
Thank you for making this a very special period.
